Most user-created repair reporting lacks sufficient standardization, validation, and consistency to be used for monitoring the reliability of equipment.  Reporting derived from weak systems is also useless for monitoring quality of internal processes and procedures. We routinely calculate that user-generated repair reporting is less than 50% accurate reflecting a high level of difficulty in maintaining standards.

TekTrakker resolves both asset and repair data to very high standards with the result that reporting can be driven reliably for the first time.  User systems need not be re-developed. Multiple data feeds from disparate systems are seamlessly integrated.

Asset Management and Incident Management Monitoring

Files presented to TekTrakker are carefully scrutinized before being accepted into the database. Error reporting is returned to the client highlighting problems with asset descriptions and hardware incident reporting. These reports are a road map of problems which when reviewed will improve the ability to locate "ghost assets" as well as monitor effectiveness of help desks and other incident management groups.

Organizational Template

The organizational templates provided by TekTrakker are ideal for use by users to help standardize and improve internal processes and reporting capabilities.  Adopting TekTrakker standards will ensure that all asset lists tabulate correctly and that all root cause analysis is reported.

Baseline and Benchmark Reporting

Every product reported to TekTrakker is presented initially on the website as a Baseline View. The Benchmark View is automatically provided where multiple sources report the same product. Benchmarking is dynamic reflecting new data submitted by members on a continuous basis. Baseline and Benchmark views may be downloaded or printed on demand.
