Why TekTrakker?

TekTrakker was developed by former technology vendors to help users compare products on the basis of reliability. Having represented most major IT vendors providing hardware, operating software, and associated services they were acutely aware of the transformational advantages such data would bring to users in their management roles. Understanding the marketing, pricing, and competitive positioning of the IT vendors they had represented, they set out to create actionable measurements of reliability and make them available to the industry.

Since 2009, TekTrakker has been approached for use by other industries, most notably the utility industry. Current "Smart Grid" projects are utilizing technology equipment of the same kind in commerical use as IT products, but reconfigured in weather-proof housings and with different applications. TekTrakker is the ideal tool to measure the failure rate of these new devices as well as make comparisons between traditional IT and new Utility products of the same underlying architecture.
